EDUCATION
Management Training: We provide the No-Lost-Time education program including the Neck-Arm School and/or the Low Back School. The management and supervisor portion goes deep into the causes for high work comp costs and teaches specific steps management can take to reduce these costs. We will make each supervisor an "expert" on reducing lost time work comp claims. The number one factor determining the cost of a claim is... supervisor attitudes. Negative attitudes are caused by misunderstanding and lead to a "Culture of Conflict." Misunderstanding can be cured with the right education, which will then cure the bad attitudes.
Employee Education: The Aging workforce is the next big obstacle in work comp claims. We provide "Working Smart for the (aging) Workplace Athlete." An educational program including the Neck-Arm School and/or the Low Back School. The employee portion goes deep (but not too deep) into the anatomy, effects of aging and work practices (beyond ergonomics) that lead to musculoskelatal discomfort, and what simple steps can be taken by the employee to prevent fatigue and discomfort. We will make each employee an "expert" on how to take care of themselves and improve their work practices for prevention. We teach them a 90 second "Micro-stretching" program that when done 4 times/day has been proven to reduce discomfort and fatigue. This will decrease risk for injury, and will actually improve productivity.
